WHAT ARTISTS CAN BE REPRESENTED BY THE CAPAS • SHOWS DIVISION?The label supports talents who align with its artistic vision: artworks with techniques that are as precise as they are innovative. Our agents are looking for shows that resonate with their own experiences, affinities, and perceptions, particularly contemporary ballet. CAPAS has thus developed specific requirements regarding technique, virtuosity, and body commitment. In the classical dance milieu, emotion shines through when the technique is exceptional, achieving a level of perfection that evokes wonder. Conversely, contemporary dance relies on emotion to dictate technique, focusing on raw feelings that make the body more expressive and true. At the confluence of these two approaches, the CAPAS • Shows division is interested in companies that deploy sophisticated gestures and visceral emotion, creating a whole where form and content are equally refined.
