Matéo Chauchat is a contemporary dance artist, graduated from the École de Danse Contemporaine de Montréal in 2017. There, he met choreographer Sarah Dell’Ava with whom he has closely collaborated since, as a performer, assistant, and dramaturgy advisor. His work with Sarah marked a turning point in the evolution of his practice, inspiring him with a deep passion for intergenerational projects. Since 2020, he has been dancing for Sylvain Émard Danse and has several creations to his credit as an independent choreographer. His interest in nurturing the next generation of dance artists led him to work as a project manager for Nous Sommes l’Été, a non-profit organization supporting the artistic development of young artists. He joined CAPAS in 2022 as a production manager
