Productions 5am

A self-taught, eclectic and curious musician, Josué Beaucage has been composing and broadcasting his soundscapes in Quebec and internationally for almost twenty years. A sound designer and performer, musician, singer, record producer, videographer and initiator of the group Who are you, he creates and performs soundtracks for other artists, notably in theater, dance, circus and film, from his studio in Quebec City. He has worked with Cirque du Soleil, Robert Lepage, Le théâtre du Trident, Le Fils d'Adrien danse, Alan Lake factori(e), Flip Fabrique, le théâtre des confettis and a host of established artists in all disciplines. Formerly artistic director of sound effects for Ubisoft in Montreal, the variety of productions in which he participated has given him an original musical signature. He has received numerous awards, including four prestigious Bernard-Bonnier awards at the Québec City Gala de l'excellence culturelle in 2009, 2015, 2016 and 2020.

Ariane Voineau & Josué Beaucage

Originally from Brittany, Ariane studied at the Conservatoires de Nantes and Angers, then at the Ballet Junior de Genève. She crossed the ocean in 2008 and settled in Quebec City. Since then, she has worked with established and up-and-coming choreographers in dance and multidisciplinary projects (Harold Rhéaume, Karine Ledoyen, Olivier Normand, Anne Theriault, Cirque du Soleil évènements, Marie-Josée Bastien, Elias Djemil, Kill ta peur...). She also initiates creative projects in collaboration with artists from Quebec and Montreal. She has co-directed two short dance films, one of which (Territoire) was presented at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival in 2015 and in several other festivals. She also has a multidisciplinary collective “LAS”, including their latest creation Ondes presented at Mois Multi in 2018. She also collaborates with La fêlure, a performance company based in Marseille. She is responsible for the activities and programming of L'Artère, art of dance and movement.
