GOLD as in Goldberg. GOLD as in Gould. A mythical piece. A brilliant and inspired pianist. Two choreographers and five dancers play with Bach's masterpiece. Hélène Blackburn & Pierre Lecours revisit one of classical music's iconic works, Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations, in Glenn Gould's unique version. In the image of this score, the dancers invent a powerful dance imbued with poetry and trompe l'oeil effects through its daring use of everyday objects and a playful approach.
