Dance Me – Music by Leonard Cohen is an exclusive creation inspired by the rich and profound work of Montreal-born poet, artist and songwriter Leonard Cohen.
Approved by Cohen during his lifetime, this unique tribute to the famous artist evokes the great cycles of existence, as described in Cohen's music and deeply reflective poems. The choreographic writing of the show was entrusted to three international choreographers: Andonis Foniadakis, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Ihsan Rustem, to create a powerful and profound universe in the image of the work of the famous Montreal poet, under the luminous impulse of the 14 performers from the company and the strong and daring dramaturgy of Eric Jean.
Surrounded by a team of renowned designers, Dance Me combines scenic, visual, musical, dramaturgical and choreographic writing to pay tribute to the greatest of Montreal ambassadors. Dance, music, videos and lighting punctuate this complete and multidisciplinary show.
