Personne Danse

Personne Danse, a contemporary dance company founded by self-taught artist Charles-Alexis Desgagnés in 2022, is headquartered in Montreal. The organization's mission is to create and produce choreographic works allowing a democratization of contemporary dance as a political and social artform, at the equilateral intersection between somatic intelligence, emotional affects and physical commitment. A dance that can be described as animalistic, vulnerable and virtuoso at the same time characterizes the artistic director's current choreographic approach, the latter constantly navigating between aquatic fluidity and volcanic tonicity.
