Andrea Peña & Artists
Interested in the depths of individuality, a theme that particularly resonates with this Latin American artist with a bicultural identity, her approach, nourished by conceptual research, is characterized by a complex choreographic language and a vulnerable somatic physicality that extends beyond movement. With a background in industrial design, her works borrow from visual and spatial practices, questioning the body in its relationship with time and space.

Andrea Peña
Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Andrea Peña is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative practice crosses the fields of installation, choreography and design. Her work focuses on the creation of critical, alternative, performative and spatial universes that question the place of the individual within society. She is acclaimed for her choreographies rich in vulnerability, complexity and somatic physicality, which extend beyond simple movement, thanks to her research. Founded in 2014, Andrea Peña & Artists has received numerous awards, for its conceptual, visceral and rigorous creations. Andrea Peña & Artists has toured extensively internationally, in Asia, South America, Europe and Canada, with productions 6.58:Manifesto (2020), UNTITLED I (2018), ZERO UNO UNO ZERO (2017), KAIROS (2015), and VIUN (2014).
